Prize(s): One (1) GRAND PRIZE: Winner shall win the Grand Prize consisting of the home in Sandia Park, New Mexico that is featured in the “HGTV Dream Home” special, plus home furnishings, merchandise, an automobile, a “HGTV Dream Play Home”, and $500,000 cash (awarded in the form of a check). The home is valued at approximately $1,500,000 (includes structure, lot, landscaping, home furnishings, artwork, accessories, and the HGTV Dream Play Home) as of November 2009. All decisions related to the HGTV Dream Home shall be at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Actual value of the HGTV Dream Home depends on market fluctuations.
The automobile is a 2010 GMC Terrain (ARV: $38,375). All home furnishings, merchandise, and the automobile will be selected by HGTV. All home furnishings and merchandise will be delivered to the HGTV Dream Home in Sandia Park, New Mexico. The HGTV Dream Home shall be conveyed to the Grand Prize Winner without representations or warranties, express or implied, other than those, if any, provided by the contractor/developer from whom HGTV has agreed to acquire the HGTV Dream Home, and other than any applicable manufacturers’ warranties. Real estate transfer taxes, deed recording charges and closing costs, if not the obligation of the Developer pursuant to an agreement with HGTV (the “Home Contract”) to acquire the home, shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner, as will all current and future real estate taxes and all other taxes, costs, fees, and expenses related to the maintenance of the house commencing as of the date the Grand Prize Winner accepts the Grand Prize.
Total ARV of Grand Prize is $2,038,375.
