  2. I work for a non profit for under 10.00 per hour, support myself and my mother, and single. We live in a home built in the early 1900′s which is in need of much repair.
After filing a claim to repair storm damage, our insurance company dropped us with the reason of ‘house too old’ ! We are unable to get coverage with another company until repairs are done. New roof, windows, getting it rewired and trees cut back off house are the main things. Please consider us for this contest.

  3. LAKISHIA HILL says:

I recently purchased my first home. I love older homes so I chose a 100 year old two story home because i love the character of the house and the size. Since my purchase I realize the challenges of an older home. I’ve attempted remodeling but ran into issues with an unprofessional contractor. Therefore I have an unfinished kitchen, somewhat remodeled upstairs bathroom and foundation problems. I still love my house but really need the foundation repaired because it has caused my floors to sag on interior walls and I am afraid of the future issues due to the foundation problem. My 5 year old son loves going from room to room and topping those stairs. I just want it to be safe and last us a long time.

Please help make my 100 year old house last another 100 years.
